Default raid0 error on one hd

what can you do for that,i have added 2x1 more ram and have vista 64 bit,how can i wipe hds before install i wont use raid this time any ideas also can i put one hd at a time in other pc and just reformat

W-D has a bootable utility that you can download from their website. Seagate, Hitachi, Maxtor, etc, they all have them. You download it and burn the iso to a cd and boot it.

I didn't go to their website and find it for you. You can handle that, right?

i know but there web site is down and i dont have a burner in this pc,can i format in this machine will it wipe it clean

You need the factory W-D format, not the Windows format.

Just install windows on 1 drive without using raid and reformat it. After install format the other drive. Just set it up like u never had a raid array. Be sure to turn off raid functions/controllers in bios first.
