Default Extra HDD cycling on/off

Hey guys I changed my rig around a bit, setup raid0 and have a extra 250gig for storage and backups. I also switched the pagefile over to the extra HDD to check that out and see how performance works with doing that.

Now I have noticed that it seems like I can hear the extra HDD spin down occasionally. Is this seemingly normal for a extra drive to do this and is there a setting to change this cycling.

Same rig as the sig except the noted changes, vista 64 premium.

Thanks

Have you set in your power option under your control panel that your HDD goes to sleep after * Insert time value here * ?
