Good read Popey. Should be common sense though, protecting stuff during transfer and all...oh well.

Epic fail. Don't correct someone if you don't understand it yourself.

IIX does not exist. You can only use "I" to make something one less than a number once, or you could have stupid things like IIIIV meaning 1.

VIII is perfectly correct.

Latin is the most useless language in the world BTW.

Btw, + Rep for the guide. Doubt anyone will ever do that though... When I shipped my stuff for EVGA step-up, they just bubble wrapped the box and shipped it.

I recommend anti-static bubble wrap if you don't have the anti-static bag in which your HD originally came with.

Nice, but as a tip for RMAs, they don't like buble wrap or peanuts. Only solid foam. Anything else and you risk your RMA getting rejected (from personal experience with seagate).

LOL

Latin is the basis of almost every language in use. That's where the term "latin-root" comes from

The dude did write out the Roman numerals wrong, but you didn't have to be an ass about it when you corrected him.

How about a link to a place where you can get anti-static bags? Its all real nice to say "use anti-static bags" except that I can't seem to find any.

I use a vacuum sealer. And correct padding, as it is.
