Quick question, when I defrag my HD, does it automatically move the data to be all together and continuous? Reason for asking is this, just bought an HP 9825 laptop and there is only the C and a 12g HP restore partition, I want a data partition, using vistas built in partitioner I can only gain 110GB from my 320GB HD, and only 30GB is actually used, looked at a HD map and ?I have some pockets of data roughly in the middle of the drive, how do I go about moving that data so vista will recognize that i can shrink the partition more than 110GB?
