Default Hard drive lag when overclocked?

Hello. I use a striker formula motherboard and an intel E8400 cpu. Currently overclocked to 4ghz with fsb raised to 444mhz. Ive used super pi and orthos for a whole night or somthing to test stability. and temps came to a max of around 70c. Tests had no errors but still my hard drive seems to lag when i try to acces it or copy stuff etc. Anyone have an idear to solve this? ive made no voltage changes with this overclock. Memory is pc2-8500.

Thanks

If you are using a SATA HDD then its most likely your PCI-E being OCed too.
Try to find a setting in your BIOs for PCI-E settings and lock it at 100. 105 MAX. Good luck.

70C is like the absolute max, i wouldn't leave it running like that for too long, but whatever, its your processor.

Agreed, I'd either get a better cooler or lower your overclock. There's no reason you should be getting that high in temperatures.

You can try giving your SB a tad more voltage.
