Warranty, reliability and mega space would have to be the Seagate 500Gb

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 (Perpendicular Recording) ST3500630AS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16822148136

Just in the past month it went from $120 to $99 and now at $79.

Manufacturer Warranty 5 years limited

7200.11 is worth the few extra $$ over 7200.10 for the 32mb cache

They are all virtually the same.

If you want good performance, get multiple drives and put them in RAID0.

I bought one of these a little while ago and have found it to be excellent, as are all my other Seagate drives .
