Default HDD Advice and Enclosure Advice

I am in the need for an external hard drive to backup my data, but I decided it would be a better idea to upgrade my internal hard drive and use my old one as an external. I think I am going to get http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136218 unless someone recommends a different HDD for less than $100. And this enclosure http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817113048.

Any one have any HDD suggestions or enclosure suggestions? The enclosure needs to have a usb and eSata port and needs to work with Vista, XP, and Linux.

Thanks!

I don't know anything about that enclosure, but the 6400AAKS is a great drive.

Get this enclosure... its really cool, excellent reviews, excellent design...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...3066&Tpk=blacx

supports both 2.5" (Laptop hard drives) and 3.5" (desktop hard drives)
and it is like a docking station... just slide your hard drive in...
