Default The Death of a Western Digital Passport?

So, after unfortunately dropping my Passport on the floor in a drunken mood to photoshop a picture, my Passport drive has ceased to work.

When plugged in.. the disk revs up, spins and then makes a series of clicking noises. Then nothing. My computer makes the "Plugged in" noise, but no prompt appears.

I brought up the Disk Management UI, and found an unidentified disk.

It says it is not initialized. So, right click and try to initialize it.. but it gives me an error: "Request could not be performed because of an I/O error"

Is my sweet baby dead?

I tried opening the HDD inside the thing, but I can't find a properly sized screwdriver or screw bit..

Thoughts?

Thoughts?

Drink kool-aid next time, also you might have to go to bestbuy and just buy a new one. I am buying a second external hd for my computer in a few weeks, a green 120GB passport by WD.

sounds like the arm/head reader is boinked.
the only way to recover the data now is to take it to a specialist.
cause if it's not even reving/spinning the disc, you cant
try to do a sector recovery tool. sorry

I wish I could open the thing.

Cant find the perfect size bit. Everything I have is too big or too small.
