Default Which raid to use?

Hi all,

I was just about to start reloading my pc and then i thought why not give raid ago, then i realised i don't have a clue which one to use so i thought you guys may be able to help.

I want to do the setup with 2 500gb hd's

i would prefere to have the full 1 tb available afterwards

and i would like the best performance such as (raid 0 i think)

Thanks

If you want to keep the 1Tb and have only 2 drives you will have to do RAID0 unless you want to do RAID1 which will half your space but decrease your chance of losing data. I don't think there is much/any performance difference between the two
