Yeah, well. I tried a couple other things, unplugging this and that, changing the configs, and eventually, the Vista disk on my desk started to be tempting, so I just installed Vista right away and it crashed the first time, not the second, and had no problems ever since... So uh...

I wanted to go for XP first to see the difference but I guess I'll go Vista right away. D:
