@gcraw ... can you please rerun this and ensure that ATTO is set to Total Length 32Mb and Direct IO Neither .. this will then help the results be easily compared to all the others.

I've run it again, for what its worth, now that I'm on NF4. Using the same drives as before, some results are a little better than NF3, some are a little worse.
One thing strange though, is how the Seagate seems to hit a wall at about 49MB/s on the ATTO test. The Hitachi goes up over 50MB/s, but the Seagate just stops Going in order, left to right: Seagate (C) HDTach, Seagate ATTO, Hitachi (D) HDTach, Hitachi ATTO, CPUz CPU and Memory

Here are the results from my setup:
Asus A8N-SLI Premium with Athlon X2 3800+, 4 Cheapie Western digital (WD1200JS) 120GB SATA2 hard drives in a stripe. Also, my Hitachi 7K250 160GB and 200GB drives in a RAID 1 mirror config. Are there any settings that would help smooth out results for RAID 0 benchtests on HDTACH?
