Question vista and XP on 500gb hard drive...having problems
hello im having some probles with y dual boot system...i partitioned my 500GB in 2 parts using vista...ad now i installed Xp on one half and vista on the lother but it keeps booting XP...without asking me which OS i want to run...please help...i want the option to run vista or XP

Put your Vista CD in and boot with it, then do a startup repair.

make sure you instal xp first then vista

Or you can install the VistabootPro to restore the Vista.

i already have Xp installed and i just put in the vista cd....do i click repair my pc?

i just canceled out of the vista install and now im back on Xp...now should i just install vista on partition 2?...i really feel dumb rite now

Yeah, just boot up with your vista dvd and tell it to install to the second partition. it will automatically set up the boot loader for dual booting.
