Should i go 10000rpm SATA or SSD Sata

I go fast SATA right now as SSD are sooooo expensive and their capacity isn't all that great yet. I've also seen live tests on boot times using laptops fitted with SSD's against other laptops using SATA drives and for me the overall speed benefit isn't huge.

10,000 rpm hard drive... if you get two, and put them in RAID, the speed can rival SSD hard drives

cool what 10000rpm drive should i go for. because i'm going to copy all my stuff off my old hard disk on to the new so i need about 160GB+

Yeah it's a little pricey. I was hoping to only spend £130 max on a new hard disk
