Default new hard drive help

it's time for me to get another hard drive
i was planning for a 250GB IDE for $70
but i'm not sure if getting a PCI SATA card + SATA hard drive would be better

what's the best option for me?

p.s i have an old MB with no SATA port

Since you have a old mobo with out a sat port your best bet is to go a 250IDE Hgg.. ill link you something better that has more space also.. 320gig $79
