Bump up, This is really cool stuff, thanks for posting this stuff weirdo124 and core2duo.

I can't figure out how to make non portable programs work though.. such as speed fan and CPUZ.

CPU-z doesn't do anything with the registry, doesn't need an install. So you should be able to just throw it on the drive and be good.

Also, i just learned that you can put just about any program that runs directly from the downloaded .exe file (no install) in PortableApps. For example i just set up Realtemp and CPU-Z. Just make a new folder with all the normal folders, but change the "app/appinfo/appinfo.ini" file to have the "Name" be the name of your program (this is what it calls it when you click the taskbar) and you HAVE to tell it where to start from at the bottom. Where it says "Start=", you have to put cpuz.exe or whatever, depending on the program. Then make sure you copy the rest of the program's contents into the same directory. So far i've got CPU-Z and Realtemp working. Going for CCleaner now. EDIT: CCleaner works

Well I didn't have a high powered game like Crysis in mind. I had something in mind like Guild Wars that is less powered and will run at computers at my school.
