recently found this site with a large collection of sounds from specific failing hard drives. Along with sounds it has a ton of usefully information on the hard drives, their weaknesses, and even how to repair them.

I got a seagate 80gb out of an emachine (that exploded, like they usually do) that has made the click of death (head drop) everytime its been used, but is still a live and failure free after 10 years
