Exclamation HDD's won't boot, suspect .41 Magnum power surge. 56k Warning

I had 4 hard drives give out yesterday all at once, I dunno what's going on. They were all IDE drives in my fileserver at home, Any ideas what could have crashed them?

I think the PCB's might have shorted or something. I'll take pics and let you guys have a look at them.

Edit: It was definitely a power surge. PSU was a Ruger Redhawk .41 Mag. Pics moved to OP.

A few more pics on Pg 4.

That's rough I don't know what could cause HDD to fail, but, you mentioned one possibility, maybe a power surge? You could get an external to remove your data of them if its possible.

Default Alright. Here they are

I think the motor might have blown on one of them. This is all I bothered to bring home.

Probably was a power surge.
My power supply was a Ruger Redhawk .41 magnum, do you think it might have caused them to fail? Ruger is supposed to make pretty reliable equipment.
