Default Hard drive for server

Hey guys,
I am shopping for a new hard drive for my counter-strike server and was wondering what to get. Pretty much anything is an upgrade from my 20gb 5400rpm drive that I have in there now.

I was looking at something pretty cheap, as I am not made of money. Space is not so much an issue, I just want something that is fast, cool and quiet. I am steering away from things like the raptor cuz they seem to make a high-pitched whine and also run hot (my server is in a SFF case). I probably wouldn't use more than 80gb but some of the nice featuers like NCQ and 16mb caches only come on larger drives. Any ideas?

Heres a link to see my server, just so you get an idea. The 120mm blowhole does pull a lot of air off the hard drive, so I thats sort of a plus....

About what is your pricerange? You could get a Maxtor Diamondmax 10 200gb 16mb cache for about $91 these days (on newegg). Its a great drive. If your willing to spend the money get a Western Digtial Raptor 74Gb. (Both drives SATA)

Sorry about the link, I don't know why it didn't get posted the first time.

90 Dollars is probably the limit to what I am going to spend. Like I said, I like raptors but they are hot and kinda noisy. I just don't think it would be wise to keep one on 24/7, either.

If you don't mind rebates, it'll be tough to beat this deal. It's a 160 GB SATA for $40. I know it's larger than you need, but you might as well get some additional space since it's cheaper than smaller drives.

If you want a cool running drive go for a single platter, 80-100Gig, latest generation drive. This one will be very fast quiet and cool:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822144425

Having fewer discs has a much bigger effect on how hot the drive gets than who makes the drive.
