Just wondering if anyone has had any luck with the cheap flash drives found on ebay. I have around $15 left in paypal and I want to get the most storage for the money. I see up to 8gb for that price but I'm a bit skeptical of the actual storage space you would actually be able to use. If you've ever tested one I'd gladly appreciate the link.
__________________I'm open to other sites as well, as long as it's under $15 and they accept paypal. I'm not too concerned about the speed (to an extent), just the actual storage space. It will just be used to store some music to play on my cars head unit.

You just missed Newegg's free shipping for all flash drives.
I just bought this one the other day and couldn't be happier. It's small and fast and OCZ makes good stuff. Unfortunately, it is not 8Gb, really hard to find an 8gb product not on sale that is less than $15. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227331 The 8Gb version of that stick is $15.99 shipped but I guess that's a bit too much =\

I wasn't necessarily wanting to pick up a 8gb stick. I was just referring to that because that's the biggest one I can get from eBay with the funds I have. I really don't care if it's 2gb, as long as the listed storage space is accurate and not a gimmick. I just want the biggest one I can get with the money at hand.

I bought a "16"GB flash drive at eBay, it turned out it was only 1GB. Not worth all the trouble to go through. It's better to get it at newegg or another trusted source.

I also disadvice ebay ones, ive heard that they will sell a 16Gb flash drive. Note I said Gb instead of Gb. Thats because they were selling 2GB/16Gb or 2Gigabyte/16Gigabit flash drives.
6 months ago I got a Corsair Flash Voyager 16GB for only $20 free shipping after MIR.

Yes, I figured as much. That's why I asked you guys. Just seeing if maybe there was one that was half way decent someone had used. Thanks.

I would also advise against getting a used flash drive. They get slower over time as they are used. The drive you are buying could have been used EXTREMELY heavily and may have poor transfer rates.
