Raid driver file help
Does anyone have a raid driver for vista 64? I'm trying to setup raid but I can't put the raid driver on a thumb drive and I don't have a flopy drive.
Is there any file i can just copy from my mobo disk or do i need to accualy install it?

No need to install raid drivers if installing vista but if you still need to the drivers should be on your mobo disk drivers. Look in your manual regarding setting up raid array.

I can't install vista. When i go to install I need to have a driver for the optic drive. Its on my mobo disk but It will only let me put it on a flopy. can i just copy the file?

you can use a pen drive (usb flash drive ), put the file in there, but you have to prepare the pen drive to boot up.
EDIT: you can do a flash drive install for vista maybe that will work. http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/fo...sb+flash+drive

The raid driver installer on my mobo disk doesn't recognize the pen drive.

Ok I copied the file from the mobo disk and it accepts it as the driver in the vista install but when i select the drive to install windows on I get an error.

are you doing the install with an overclock? if so set everything to default or stock speed
