So this morning my Perc 5/i decided it wanted to initialize the RAID5 aray I have. Out of nowhere.
I managed to catch it after only a few % and stop it, because all my files were completely unreadable. The array shows up in computer management as containing no MBR or partitions. So I'm running some software to recover the files off of it, but every 5 minutes it keeps automatically initializing it. How do I get it to stop doing this, so I don't have to sit here through the whole recovery process? Or should I just let it go through and I won't lose any data?

I can't help you specifically, but you may want to post in the PERC 5/i thread. The only thing I can think of that might stop it is if you pulled one of the drives, forcing the array into degraded mode.
