If its the same speed like 7200 rpm or 5400, than it shouldnt make a difference. If one of your drives is 5400, than install everything on the 7200 one.

It will actually be a bit faster since your main windows HDD is always being written to as long as the drive you are installing the games on is not an extremely slow drive to begin with...
It also depends on the game...Fallout 3 would suffer quite a bit... Definitely leave a slower drive to run the OS and keep the games on your faster drive

Why? Wouldn't you want faster boot times if you had the opportunity. And faster loading in games. The only thing a 5400 rpm drive should be purchased for is data storage, like movies, music, videos and documents.

If your considering a fast hdd ( aside from SSD ) the WD 640 blacks are great preformers, or you consider a sammy F3 1tb drive. Either way you should see a snappier and quicker responce from those drives.

raid 0 is where its at. I'm usually the first to load larger texture map packs (such as in bf2 or even tf2 i'm usually in the top 5 getting in the game)
