Hi Everyone.
Well, some people were just talking about HD Tune, so I thought, What the heck, lets run it. I ran the error scan thing and: ![]() Lol, one red block. So, on some forums it said I have to buy a new Hard Drive, I was wondering, How long is it before it breaks? Thanks, FiX

HD always have bad sectors.... if you do a low-level refomat, the drive should remap it.

Run Windows Error Check and choose to fix bad sectors. May or may not work, but always worth trying
![]() If the HDD is still under warranty, you could try an RMA.

![]() HD's come with extra sectors to "repair" those that go bad. Run chkdsk and try again. If there's still a bad sector, run the long test of WDs Data Lifeguard for more SMART info.

I tried CHKDSK, always comes up with errors.
Tried Data Lifeguard, no errors on quick test. I am not sure what a low level format is. Downloads with google chrome are all corrupt, only downloads with internet explorer aren't.

I had the same problem but with all my browsers BUT Chrome. Only a reformat could fix ma issues ![]() Reformats normally fix these things. Just pretend to be reinstalling your OS
