Default RAID or Velociraptor

basically i want to buy a new drive to install windows 7 on.
what do u guys think would be a better solution overall, two WD caviar blacks in RAID 0, or just a Velociraptor?
my specs are in the signature.
Thanks in advance

Definitely 2 WD caviar blacks for price/performance and will sure be faster than ONE single velociraptor.

I personally have run the follwing RAID 0 setups:

WD 640AAKS x2
150Gb Raptor x 3
300Gb VelociRaptor x 2

In all honesty, I see no diffrence between all 3. I highly recomend picking up a pair of WD640AALS Black drives and running them in RAID.

actually i have another question, it might seem dumb, but i figure since the prices are the following:
500GB - 70$
640GB - 75$
750GB - 80$
should i just got with the 750GB?
