Default Are My HDD,s Dying? ;(

Hey
Ok i was justo n my PC a few moments a go when it randomly froze
I couldnt move the mouse or Ctrl alt delete out of it so i had to restart

I then restarted the pc and it occured to me that the clicking noise in my HDD could be the click of death

THe hdd,s are a few years old and they both seem to have a loud clicking noise comeing out of them?

Are they dying?

Thnx

If your HDD is clicking then that's usually a sign of it dying.

Most definitely.

You show you have Hitachi 160GB drives - they wouldn't happen to be 7k160's would they?

Seems somethings not right. Simple solution - get a new hard drive

Also, while your in windows hurry up and back up all your files you need incase you lose something.
