Default Is this SSD compatible with desktop PC?

You can see the SSD drive in question here. They don't mention anything about desktops in the description .

I want to buy 3 of these and use in RAID0 because they surpass OCZ Vertex in performance and cost 50% less.

16x3=48GB is enough for Windows and 3 of my favourite games. But i fear that they won't be comptabile with desktop PCs. Look at them, they're tiny. Do you guys think it is OK with PC?

Should work, if it has sata connector.

Can you convert this price to usd? It would be interesting to know how much they cost.

Yes it'll work, but I don't see why you'd want it to in a desktop. Usually those tiny SSDs are MUCH slower than the full 2.5" SSDs we're accustomed to (on top of which it states it has Samsung guts, which is discouraging judging on what Anandtech reported with full-size Samsung-based SSDs).

Each of these 16GB SSDs costs 78,64 USD including VAT. 3 of 'em makes 235 USD.

Well i don't care much about those reports because my currend storage solution is pathetic. I have a mechanical harddrive with more than 10ms access time and max. 100mb/s reading. On the other hand these ssds have 0.1ms access time, 90x3=270ms/s reading and 45x3=135mb/s writing capabilities which is quite convincing to buy.

Read this and the 3 other articles by this guy before you buy an SSD. I would not buy that one until you do. I can not read the specks so you will have to look, but I doubt it has the good controller.

SSD stuff you should know.

Yes, I see exactly where you're coming from. Trust me, though, it's worth it to save up for a full 2.5" Intel- or Indilinx-based drive.
