Default Best utility (DOS) for erasing a hard drive?

What's the best DOS utility for erasing a hard drive to ensure the contents can never be retrieved?

I found these tools, nit sure if they are any good..

Yeah, I know what you mean, but I want to get rid of my Raptor drives and they are fetching $100 each on ebay. I found a program called Active@ Kill Disk - Hard Drive Eraser 2.0, and I'm probably going with that one, but I intend to disconnect my network cable before using it just to be sure :-D
