Default Dear storage subform - W7 drive issues...

Hi all.

Apologies for crosslinking, but I'm having some trouble in Windows 7 with my media drive.

It's a one drive RAID 0 array (my bios didn't want to recognise it as a single drive, so I've set it up on it's own array so the system will recognise it), which is fine in every regard but one.

I'll let the thread do the talkin':

Never heard of this, but google came up with a lot of info. Looks like there is still a problem, and perhaps SP1 will fix?

Right click on drive, Properties, Security, Advanced, Owner - Take Ownership

.. but you've done that, right?

I surely have, and have a +1 rep for the suggestion anyway.

Not an ownership issue, I got the ownership context menu option build in from some downloadable from the W7 forums.

As I said, google found tons of references to what sounds like a similar issue. None of them, including several on TechNet, had any resolution.
