Default Ssd to get/look foward to for best performance

Hey guys,

I was wondering which ssd should I get or look forward to with the best bang for the buck. There are so many out right now, that I don't know what to even begin with. I am no dire need for an ssd right now but what should I look forward to or get? Its going to be the next upgrade for my rig.

Thanks in advance guys!

The Intel drives are (AFAIK) the fastest SSDs out right now.

Not really, but they are considered to be the "best overall" in terms of speed and quality.

An Intel G2 X25 would be a great choice, available now in 80GB and 160GB sizes. The OCZ Vertex is also a nice drive. Otherwise, if you don't plan on buying now, just ask again when you are ready. Don't look for prices to fall for a while, however - demand way outstrips supply at the moment.
