Default 30gb SSD for boot drive

Is 30gb enough for a win7 boot drive? Obviously I won't be loading games on them.

I was hoping to be able to load common programs like picassa, firefox, video editors, etc.

I have win7, and a 40gb partition, fresh install with just a couple basic programs (office, chrome, msn, etc) I'm using 15gb, so you'd have room for a few games and programs.
