Default Failed to update Firmware

I tried to update my firmware to the latest just now and I got this error:



Any help?

try to update the firmware with the ssd hooked up to sata port 1( unless it already is) and make sure to have your bios set to achi mode not ide.

In your motherboard book it will tell you which ports are which. I just checked it and it goes 1/2 3/4 5/6 so the left two is 1/2 I would think the top one would be sata 1 try that and see what happens.

Hmm.. that's weird. Mine is set to IDE and it flashed perfectly. Oh well, guess I was lucky.

Did this ever work out?

I've had screwy things like this when I updated the firmware on mine.

I just ran the failed update immediately and it came back as "already updated".

Did you just retry or has the problem been resolved?
