Default Need help on deciding on a intel SSD.

Now I love the new gen 2 intels, but I am trying to get a guess is to if the SLC is worth the cost to get one of those compared to the MLC?

Honestly its not worth it. Cost will gradually come down and tech will get better. Save your money and get a MLC.

X25-M G2 only comes in MLC.

Intel TRIM does not work in RAID, however there is a third party application called TonyTrim which is supposed to work on RAID SSD's.

RAID = No TRIM.

The G2 don't have internal garabage collection either.

To answer most of your questions:
(1) a fridge cannot cool a PC (2) 64-bit OS for over 3.4GB (3) If a PCIe card fits, it should work (4) Resolution, not screen size (5) If you have a question, it is not news (6) Report, not respond to Spam (7) Single-Rail/Non-Modular PSUs are not always better than Multi-Rail/Modular (8) Sequential does not matter as much as random for OS drives

You can't just look at SLC vs MLC....

The controller is as/more important.

160GB for sure. It's faster than the 80GB version and supports TRIM by itself.
