I'm waiting for the R600, but that doesn't mean I won't buy a GF8800 , I'm thinking it over

I have begun to get skeptical on how much progress has actually been done on the R600, they were originally supposed to be released in september (then again Vista and dx10 is supposed to be out too)

I also want to put a colder pelt on this xtx

I'm getting a 7900GTO, flashing my GTX with the GTO bios, then doing SLI. Or something...

Bad Link

And I believe it has been announced that the GTX will be $600, in the US anyways. I've had enough bad experiences that I am extremely cautios whener I hear anything like that from The Inquirer.

I'd go for the R600.

--off topic--
Either this is funny or it just sad that U.K./Europe nation's in general, always get the least amount of unit whenever a new technology/games/hardwares/etc is released. For instance, Ps3 is next year for them; it seems like Europe is a care-free country. In this situation, the perfect quote for this is: "it's better late then never".
