I love the NHS (thank goodness we have one) but the government need to sort out the MRSA problem before it becomes more widespread. It's a serious threat, much more so than terrorists. It's amazing that the government has spent loads on anti-terrorism and changed many of our social systems to combat it, yet MRSA has killed more people than terrorism has over the last two decades in the UK and very little seems to be being done about it...

I didnt know that keyboard gunk can kill 3000 people in a day... terrorists are not as much of a "threat" because were fighting them over there. You think nothings coming out of it because you watch the drive-by media.
Dont bring polotics into this buddy, because i'll blow you outta the sky and so will the TOS.

I knew keyboard are icky... but killing people? wow.

that pisses me off

You clearly have a very tenuous grasp of the issues involved here. I suggest you acquaint your self with the reality of these matters, before posting about them.

Puerile threats are not acceptable on overclock.net. If you disagree with my assertions and want to air your opposition, I suggest you choose a more appropriate manner of doing so. You only make yourself look foolish with juvenile, threatening statements like "i'll blow you outta the sky".

Only 120 UK troops have died in Iraq so far. Only 52 people died in the London bombings. MRSA on the other hand, kills 5000 Brits a year, every year.

The figures clearly show where the UK government should be targeting it's efforts and resources. You do the math.

A lack of cleanliness is one of the major factors that help perpetuate MRSA in hospitals. This new keyboard is a good idea in that it will help to prevent the spreading of MRSA. Still, it would also help a great deal if staff washed their hands frequently as well...
