@Rick: Your processor is still faster than his...but with that DFI mobo, I think you need to learn how to overclock.

These are a budget processor. I hope they don't cost $140 though; I mean, a E6300 is around $200, so this should be in the sub-$100 range on newegg once it comes out.

Kramy, I agree with you on the prices....

Also, about me learning to overclock, I've done everything I could possibly think but I cant get it stable on prime95. I can get it to 2.8 highest but iut wont be stable.

Yea, but it wont have the same performance as the other conroes. I just had a thought. Most average computer people judge a computer by megaherdz(sp?) to determine speed, wouldnt that drive away consumers?

I just read some more info that there will be a 1mb L2 cache version and they will be priced at around $100.00

If there is a 1MB L2 version for around the $100 USD price point, I may well snap one up for a dedicated folding rig. Even a 512Kb L2 version would be much better than my current folding rig CPU though .
