Unless you run some sort of high-end SLI, then yes you'll that that much power but for a single card, the 700W is more than enough.

A 700W is more than enough for a single 8800GTX.

Same for me. But the 700W is strong enough for anything out right now. Unless you want to SLI the next-gen GPU's, then it'll be strong enough for the single cards too
