2 cores is enough for me until they code an FPS to use all 4... now to just get up to Dual Core...

Exactly!

And from what I hear, the 2.66ghz will be $1K, the 2.40ghz will be $800 so that means that measly 2.13ghz will be somewhere in the $550-$600 which means all of the Quad Core Intel releases will be out of my price range.

Maybe they'll make one 1.83 Ghz model just for you, Nasgul.

Makes me glad I didn't go straight to Core 2...gonna wait a year or two, and go Kentsfield when the prices are down.
