The E2180 will definitely be faster than the two more above those two models. Not to mention that the E2160 (well, actually every C2D) are far better OCers and OC'd they smoke all X2s. |

I've been using the E2140 on my budget builds, and I love it. Heck it was only $80 at Newegg! Unbeatable. It stomps my Opty.

would all these pentium e21x0 get fsb400 on their highest multi with decent air cooling?
I mean if they all get a 100% OC I'm like WOOOW!!! ![]()

It's the luck of the draw. It all depends on what you get. Other variables include: motherboard, CPU cooling, and ram. Your not guaranteed a 100% OC but these chips seem to get pretty close if not get there. Now I'm sure a E2180 at 4GHz will take a lot of Vcore but it might be possible. Most of the E21x0 CPUs hit a FSB wall before they hit a limit on the CPU OC. Maybe the E2180's 10 multiplier will make that less of an issue.

and what are the fsb walls on each E21x0? Or is this the luck of the draw? But motherboard: Every P35 should get 400FSB? CPU cooling: Thermalright 120 Extreme would be able to handle allot of vcore? Ram: On 1:1 Ratio ddr800 will get a 100% oc on all E21x0 Series?

Ive seen in the 370 range seems to be the wall for most e2xxx cpus. Even so, 350 with a 10x multi is 3.5ghz, not too shabby on an $85 cpu
