I am curious to see how it compares, legitimally that is, against the 640MB GTS. I would hate to go and buy a 8800GTS640mb and then the 8800GT spank its ass for less cash

i'm depending on a step-up anyway cuz i paid for an overpriced card purposely at circuit city, cuz i knew the difference wouldn't differ after the switch. 8800 gt will definitely be in my clutches, cuz i cant justify anything over 3 bills.

Any ideas on how running 2 gigz of OCZ's SLI pc8500 and SLIing the new 8800GT's would be running, about 11-12k in 3dmark06 maybe?

SLI certified ram offers little to no difference...at ALL.
