How is it not worth answering? I was thinking of getting a GTX a few days ago, now that I see this I might just wait a few weeks. A 350~ card can beat a 500+~ card. How it does that is definitely worth answering.

This is really kind of hard to believe when spec wise it's less powerful than the GTX, i dont really trust the site all that much either

To everyone not believing that this thing can in any way compete with the 8800GTX:
65nm G92 > 90nm G80 I think I'll go with the KO edition. EVGA just HAS to make one of those. single-slot cooler FTW.

a card is a LOT more than just its raw "clock cycle count" and "pipes". they had a year to optimize the 8 series. And thats what you see here, optimization. I always thought of the gtx (and ultra) as "bruteforce" cards anyway

They should name it 8900GT if it's this much better than a 8800GTS.

the problem is, it isn't generally better than a GTX, let alone a ULTRA. So 89xx would "outclass" their other 88xx cards, even tho they are better.

Lmao those are the fakest tests I've ever seen.
__________________The source is a Taiwanese Blog website called force..... are you guys serious? the 8800gt is being made to close the gap between the 8600gts and the 8800gts, not the gap between the 8800gts and the 8800gtx... that gap is already fairly small, it wouldnt make sense to throw another card in there A dead giveaway of the fakeness of these tests is that in some cases they have the 8800gt OUTPERFORMING the 8800gtx.... um, is that a joke? should I be laughing?? a card aimed at the $200 dollar mark outperforming one that costs upwards of 500??? LOL is all i have to say about those tests. Don't believe reviews from websites if you cant even read the text.
