Those are sure good cards compared to their ATI equivalent regarding pricing.

Skieptisism I can cope with. People screaming "fake" should be cast into the flames to burn. It's always the same on these forums nowadays with people running their mouths when they haven't got a clue what they're talking about.

The fact of the matter is, Taiwanese/Japanese sites are always the first to dish out the gossip. It makes sense, since thats where everything is released first. Open up your PC and I guarantee that at least 3 or more components are manufactured in either Malaysia or Taiwan.

So please unless you have something constructive to post, "fake" shouldn't even register as a post on your "spam counter".

Personally, I'm really looking forward to seeing some more results from this card. As always, I'm remaining skeptical about these benchies until more get released, but so far so good nVidia. After the slightly dissappointing 8600 series performance, this is a breath of fresh air!

You're just angry because you want so badly for these tests to be real... when they're not... sorry, I say these are fake, but i listed reasons why, and so did other people, I think there were two posters who only wrote "fake" in their post, but honestly... is there any need for words beyond that? in every test if i remember correctly, they have the 8800gt outperforming the 8800gts, and in one test they have it BEATING the 8800gtx.... "Fake" is all I would write, and all i would need to write if I didn't feel the need to fully express myself in my posts....

If you honestly think these tests are real just because Taiwan is a reputable source on electronics, then whats your stance on Santa Claus? Your parents tell you he's real don't they?

Ok lets look at a feature of a card more modern than the 8800GTX for example, the 8600 series.

http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_family.html

Oh wait, whats that? 8600 is better at Bluray/HDDVD playback than an 8800? But isn't the GTX "UNBEATEABLE"

Face it. The GTX is getting old. Of course newer cards are going to begin to outperform it in some areas. Do you really think nVidia just keep the same design for every iteration of their chips? Of course not. Features are being added all the time. You have to be pretty ignorant to think that the designers/developers at nVidia sit their playing with themselves all day until they decide to release another card to fill the void between the 8600GTS and 8800GTS.

Also, like I said, I'm remaining skeptical about the benchmarks. Theres a difference between being skeptical, fully believing the results, and out-right screaming fake.

Oh and the comment about Santa/Parents, dont even go there coz the minute you make a personal attack on me, I'll be reporting your post. Why? There is no room or need to drag anyones personal circumstances into any debate on this forum unless there are special circumstances. It's a sign of someone unskilled and incapable of participating in a debate where they are unable to provide adequate facts/proof and want to elevate themselves above the opposition through a mindless barage of insults. Not clever or funny.

It is not that everything gets released there first. It is the fact that virtually all PC components (except maybe CPUs) are manufactured in China or Taiwan. Guys just sneak them out or have better access to the thousands of cards being produced.

All those big words. Man, whatever you just said, I agree with.

Now, if everyone would kindly stop attempting to annihilate every single hope that I have for this card, that would be greatly appreciated.

Super comic-relief man to the rescue.
