Same reason it won't hit R700 (which as you'd see me being told about above), its no where near affordable.

NVidia has 1 GDDR4 as well. AMD has 2 GDDR4 cards. And i bet G90 and R700 will both have GDDR4 only (not the current G90, the Geforce 9000 series G90s.)

ATi has x1950xtx, 2600xt, 2900pro, 2900xt with GDDR4.

AMD does have more parts with with GDDR4 but since the Nvidia cards hold the performance crown right now, AMD has to go for lower price and GDDR4 is more expensive so I doubt we'll be seeing too many GDDR4 and definitely GDDR5 parts anytime in the near future.

Negatory.

Article speaks about practical Data throughput (not "bandwidth")

That is - 6 gigabytes per sec.
Timings/freq bandwidth are... here nor there

I'm thinking though... where these modules will be implemented.

As mentioned, graphics cards are just now on the virge of uttilizing gDDR4 RAM.
I doubt there's be that huge bandwaggonish jump by GPU manufacturers.... so I dunoo.

BUT - mind you, sumsung is no fool.. so - they must know where the markets gonna come from.

I didn't count the 2900 pro because its simply a faulty XT, but i didn't know the 2600 and the 1950 had GDDR4 versions too. Thats interesting.

Probably supercomputers that use the same principles at GPU do (GPU use many many sort of semi-cores to accomplish their tasks MUCH faster then CPU do.)

I hate you. You're a noob. Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.

AMD IS keeping up with the 8800 series for the most part.
