Cool find.
I like how a 100$ card, the HD3650, is probably just as powerful as some top cards from 06.

Don't know if anyone has seen this yet, but I just stumbled across it .

First bench of HD 3650 AKA. RV635

December 19th, 2007 by jeff

Quote:
RV635, the next era mainstream GPU by AMD, have been spotted benched using 3DMark05. Here is the score, 11001.
But source said he was using AMD OverDrive overclock the VGA card to 750/1650. So the score can not show what’s the chip’s real power.

I wonder how crossfire will work with the 3650. Maybe get two of those instead of a 3850?

The HD 3650 could be the first low-midrange DX10 card worth buying. This is pretty cool on AMD's part, hope that the ATI division continues to pump out good cards.

I wonder how these cards will compare to the 8600/2600 series? It would be absolutely AWESOME to see the 3650 mop the floor with them and the X1950PRO and then sell for $100-150!

I am guessing PCI-e 2.0 is backwards compatable?

Check my sig.

I wonder if these cards can handle HD decoding for under $100.
