I think the game programmers need to starting making real dx10 games using the unified shaders. I wonder how efficient these new cards really are with dx9. I mean they have the brute force to do the stuff fast, but I wonder what the card could really do if a game was designed to use its full potential(8800 series I mean). I don't want to spend money upgrading from my 8800gt until its really necessary. I don't think dx9 games (that are coded well, imo crysis isn't) will really bring the good dx10 cards down. As games like oblivion/CoD4/UT3 shows.

It's funny how a lot of people that didn't buy a EVGA card now are screwed for a cheap/free upgrade.
I can practically imagine how EVGA's site is going to be hammered the day the G100 comes out.

I cant imagine power reqs being any more then a gtx or if they really do just glue two g92s together then a 2900 X_X

as for amount of ram.. again i would be blown away if it was any less then 1gig... while i understand that very few games use the full amount on a gtx, some due.. and if this is there flagship for next year it really shouldnt be limiting to any game already out..

If its there new flagship of course evga will make one.. everyone will..

with the way things go i would not be surprised if its actually comes out in april or something and even people with step up are sad
