If its there new flagship of course evga will make one.. everyone will..

with the way things go i would not be surprised if its actually comes out in april or something and even people with step up are sad

Please don't say that....it's going to bring bad luck for all the people with the EVGA step-up program which includes....uhh, ME

Correct. BUT. When SLI 7950GX2's are benched, they score the same as an 8800GTS 640MB. When 8800GTS 640MB are SLI'd, they score much higher. Get the point?

These cards will have no scalability, and driver support will be disastrous for any new games. The best they will manage is playing Crysis, and any other new games at the time, with decent performance. A proper flagship is a new, single PCB, single core, single GPU card.

Can't you just step-up to another card and use the Step up from that card? Or can you not do that?

I knew that their next flagship card was going to be G92 based, after all why would they release a new core architecture and skip using it to its full potential? I'm sure that this card is going to be a complete monster though. Its like having two highly overclocked 8800GTS 512mb cards with a bigger bus (maybe 512) and probably more shaders all on one card. I can see this card is going to be quite pricey though, probably around $650.

QFT.

Apparently, Nvidia has pretty much reached its limit and can no longer produce any faster GPU for the time being.
