Ok.. Time for fanboyism. Just wait untiil the 9800GX2 comes out. Your all in for a treat when it comes to Pwnage. Its funny how Nvidia's 8-series is still beating Ati's 3 series.. It's rather entertaining as well to watch everyon fight over what is better.

We'll wait for the 9800GX2 to come out and suck hard, like the 7950GX2 did.

I assume they have it down by now.

Regardless, I don't care what's faster as long as I can afford it and it gets the job done.

30% is what Toms hardware claims nvidia said. There was a leaked (though probably and hopefully for nvidia fake) 3dmark06 score of the card, and it got about 14k. Otherwise, we have to wait for ACTUAL reviews and not rumors.

I'm not talking about CPU

Intel market share in PC graphic is 38%, nvidia is 33.9% and ATI is 19.1%

So it's very clear: Mobility HD2600 -> 8600M GT -> NOTHING! just wait for new RADEON

And here is some unconfirmed info: GeForce 9600 GT may pin-to-pin to 8800GT,that means they will use the same PCB. Also the memory will be 256bit, GPU supports DX 10.1 and ShaderModel 4.1, and the card have the same HD playback ability as G98.
We just confirm that GeForce 9600 GT uses P545 PCB design (not 8800GT’s P393 PCB design), and the memory will be 256bit 512MB, still don’t know support DX10.1 or not .

8700M GT and 8800M GTX both beat the 8600M GT. All three are offered in SLI on some notebooks as well.

The 7950M is also faster than the 8600M GT.
