That very question has force me to stick to my stock cooling on the 8800GT until I know for sure if it will work with the 9800GT. Or maybe the 9800GT will ship with a good cooler.. *crosses fingers*

If something works, run with it. They reused the 7800GTX 512 cooler on the 7900GTX and no one batted an eyelash. Why? It was a great cooler.

My guess is that they will have a small adapter plate as usual.
