Default [ExpRev] 9800GTX got a 8800GTS 512MB cooler

Quote:
The cooler inside 9800GTX is the same one of 8800GTS 512MB. They got the same fin, same heatpipe placing, and same fan(BFB1012L,12V,0.48A). The cooler is OEM by CoolerMaster.

But of course the shell of the cooler are re-designed to fit the length. The color is black with a big white eye on it.

Maybe they're just using the cooler temporarily while designing a new one?

GTX is a single "core" card. Only the GX2 is a sandwitch product. At least thats what i've seen so far!

That is my main worry about the GX2, a dual GPU on the same PCB is rather different in performance to a Dual PCB.

The important question though, is whether or not 8800GTX blocks will fit on the 9800GTX.
