May I cry "PHOTOSHOP!" ?

Look at the pixelation around the text areas. The data is so similar to the GTS, that I assume they just changed the name to "9800 GTX".

I wish geeks would stop trying to April Fool us every day of the year.

My 8800GTS G80 has 20 ROPs and even a 8800GT beats the piss out of my card so I think they have little to do with real performance.

Not sure about GTX but as far as GX2 goes, it is expected - G92 and dx10. As long as ATI can't come up something and they are ahead of game, they will reuse G92 again until last drop of juice. Let's see some real benchmarks to see how good it is. I still think GT or GTS SLI is a good option.

Why would it be fake? If the next high-end offer is a G100 which is suppose to double the performance of the G92 in August-September, then it would not be worth the effort to cook up another high-end, higher than the G92, but lower than G100.

It's also illogical (from a marketing perspective) to have a mid-range 9600GT and a high end 8800GTS 512. A client may say 8800<9600 and sadly most of them do.

Because ATI doesn't have a highend thing to beat them, I hope ATI can make something good to combat this, nVidia will be in trouble then.

By the looks 8800GTX might still beat this. WOW and its so old now. People that got the 8800GTX when it fist came out must have really made a good investment that lasted more then 1.5 years.
