2 8800GTS (G92)s in SLI, and call it good for the next two years. Is there really a reason right now that anyone NEEDS a 9-series? The only benefit I can see to a 9800GTX, if it performs well, is that if it had the memory bandwidth and interface of an 8800 Ultra, with the speed of the 8800GTS (G92) (which it appears to have). Even with that benefit, it'll only be really noticable at insane resolutions like those used on 30"+ monitor/TVs. You could even SLI them, but again, won't make much different unless you're at insane resolution.

that is not the sli connector on the side with the pcie pins if you look on the other side it you can kinda see around the cooler and see the slot for the sli.

but beyond that this card is straight up pathetic.

i will save my money and not waste it for a few mhz higher clocked version of the 8800 GTS 512(G92). if these spec are actually true. with i am not agreeing to say they are or aren't.

I am not believing any of this speculation.

I am happily waiting for the 9800 and its pretty damn obvious that they are going to beat the 8 series.

Nvidia would not make new high end cards that are beaten by their existing 1 year old GTX.
